Lodging in Fraser for the Last Minute Traveler

Fraser Co Flowers
An impulsive trip to the Fraser Valley will be beautiful any time of year.

You don’t have to give up the quaint charm of a small, locally owned and operated business when you’re looking for lodging in Fraser for an unplanned trip. The cabins, bed and breakfasts and small inns in the beautiful Rockies are usually reserved in advance because they have great reputations. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the welcome that can get at a larger motel, even one that is operated by a chain.

The minute you drive into the parking lot of the Pinnacle Lodge, you can see how well your choice for accommodations fits into the surrounding area. The lodge exudes the mountain atmosphere that makes Colorado such a popular vacation spot. Fireplaces await you for the chilly evenings that fall even in the summer months, and the indoor pool and spa will help you unwind before retiring for the night.  Make use of the exercise room to get you ready for the busy day, and then help yourself to the free continental breakfast and enjoy it in front of the fireplace or next to a window to enjoy the views.

The Pinnacle Lodge isn’t only for the last minute traveler. As one the newest facilities for lodging in Fraser, guests are assured of a comfortable stay with modern amenities.

Pool Pinnacle Lodge
Amenities like an indoor pool and hot tub make the Pinnacle Lodge a comfortable place to stay year-round.

There are 60 rooms at the Pinnacle Lodge, with six different types of rooms. Family suites, romantic tower spa suites, kitchenettes, spa suites, and the standard king and double queen rooms are available.  All offer the basic microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot and digital cable TV along with Wi-Fi. Each room also has an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Laundry facilities are available on site, and the lodge is ADA compliant with elevators.

There is an indoor pool and hot tub as well as an outdoor picnic table. Enjoy the bar in the lounge; browse the gift shop, or venture outside for on-site activities that include snowshoeing or fishing. You can also rent a bike and explore.

No matter what time of year you stay in the beautiful Fraser Valley, you’ll find activities that you can enjoy. Of course, it’s famous for the skiing, but when the winter gear has been packed away, the active minded visitor can hike to the Great Divide, raft the rivers, explore Rocky Mountain National Park, bike in the mountains or relax at summer concerts. The rodeo is another popular attraction in the area.
