Trail Ridge Road Scenic and Historic Byway is a 48-mile (77 km) National Scenic Byway that traverses Rocky Mountain National Park from Estes Park, Colorado in the east to Grand Lake, Colorado in the west. The road reaches a maximum elevation of 12,183 feet (3,713 m), near Fall River Pass, making it the highest continuous paved road in the United States.

Trail Ridge Road was constructed between 1926 and 1932, and was designated as a National Scenic Byway in 1996. The road is open from late May to mid-October, weather permitting.
