16th Annual Crested Butte Music Festival

The 2012 festival will showcase outstanding performers from all over the world and internationally acclaimed performers such as Boston Brass, American String Quartet, jazz legend Junior Mance and opera stars Marcello Giordani and Samuel Ramey.  Celebrating its 16th year, CBMF also has bluegrass, opera and gypsy jazz mini-festivals that are part of the larger event. Canon City Farmer’s Market

 

Coffee and breakfast is always served.

 

Story Hour from the Library at 10:30 a.m. each day.

 

We usually have a large variety of seasonal produce represented at the market in addition to honey, bread, eggs, body products, and garden crafts. Ours is a grow your own market and no resale of items is allowed. Colorado Produce is the only produce represented.

 

We have a mission to supply fresh, locally grown seasonal produce that will help us eat healthy and support our local economy of farming.

 

Our Canon City Farmers’ Market accepts Food Stamps and Debit cards. We won’t be taking WIC vouchers this year.

 

Come to our only Farmers’ Market in Fremont County where the Community gathers every week to meet old friends and talk with the farmers that grow the produce.

Glenwood’s Downtown Market

Find Great Food and Fun at Glenwood Springs Downtown Market

 

Glenwood’s Downtown Market features farmers, ranchers, local chefs, food vendors, arts, crafts, special events, and is an all-around good excuse to get out and have fun with your neighbors.

 

At the Market, you will find Olathe sweet corn, Palisade peaches, raspberries, apples, green chili, apricots, tomatoes, green beans, organic produce, fresh flowers, fresh-baked bread and pastries, handmade jewelry, unique clothing, artwork, local musicians, and more!

 

The market is located on 9th Street between Grand and Cooper avenues in the heart of downtown Glenwood Springs. It is highly visible to traffic traveling through downtown and easy walking distance from Glenwood’s many excellent restaurants and shops. The 2012 market opens Tuesday, June 12th, a week earlier than previous, and continues every Tuesday evening through September 25th for a total of 16 weeks. It is open to the public from 4pm to dusk. Parking is available in the lot between the Springs Theatre and Bank of Colorado – right across the street!

Native American Dances at the Cortez Cultural Center

Enjoy a cross-cultural experience at the Cortez Center, 25 N. Market Street in Cortez. With our Native American dances Monday through Saturday 7 p.m. starting May 25,2012 through Labor Day Weekend. Admission is Free. The dances are supported by a grant from Mesa Verde Country. Also visit the centers gift shop, featuring Native American and Southwestern merchandise. Call 970-565-1151.
