The Wings of Freedom Tour travels the nation to pay tribute to flight crews, ground crews, workers, soliders and airmen who flew the B-17 and B-24 fighter planes during the American effort in WWII from 1942-1945. This group of people were famous for their ability to sustain damage and still accomplish the mission.
On July 6-8 you can see a piece of history at the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport and view three vintage WWII fighter planes or take a flight by donating to the preservation fund. You will have the opportunity to visit, explore and learn more about these unique treasures in aviation history.
To get up close to these rare planes, there is a $12 donation for adults and $6 for adults. To get more information visit www.40sflying.com
