Complement A Getaway to Beaver Creek with Fine Dining

Beaver Creek Saddleridge

Many people consider the mountains when enjoying Colorado vacations in the winter and Beaver Creek is one community that thrives on winter travelers. In fact, many of the area’s attractions and dining options are only open in the winter months during this heavy travel season.

Beaver Creek is renowned for the wide range of terrains on its mountain and its large snowfalls. The hills and terrain parks are well-groomed here, making it a favorite Colorado travel destination for snow sports enthusiasts. It even has a well-known snowboard school for those wanting to try their hand at this particular sport.

Elegant Dining Awaits After a Day in the Snow

When you are done playing in the snow during your Beaver Creek vacation, you will want to have a comfortable, inviting place to dine. That is what SaddleRidge offers. There is a reason this is one of the most popular restaurants in the area.

Venues SaddleRidge
Don’t let the rustic decor at SaddleRidge fool you: this is an upscale restaurant where it is not uncommon for diners to arrive in black tie attire.

Everything about SaddleRidge makes you feel like you are dining in a mountain lodge. The décor is something you have to see to truly appreciate. In addition to its rustic elegance, you will find it to be a bit of a museum to the mountain frontier.

Take a look at Geronimo’s tomahawk and General Custer’s hat when you visit. Similar artifacts are scattered throughout the inviting restaurant. There is even an antique player piano in one corner of the bar.

Do not let the rustic décor fool you, though. The chairs at your table may not match, as they use a hodgepodge of antiques in this restaurant, but the ambiance is definitely upscale. It is not surprising to find people dining in black tie attire at this location. The rotating menu includes dishes like free-range chicken with lemon pan sauce and buffalo prime rib with horseradish cream sauce.

SaddleRidge maintains an international wine list that is one of the best in the region. It earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the variety and quality of its wines. The serving staff will gladly help you pair one of their wines with your meal.
