Shamrock Brewery – A Taste of Ireland in Pueblo Colorado

shamrock brewery puebloIn my experience, few dining establishments can shine in presenting a wide menu of fabulous food, all prepared to perfection. Each chef seems to have their own specialty, and as you get acquainted with all of the places for dining in Pueblo, you’ll be able to know where to get the best of what you are hungry for. That why I am really impressed with the Shamrock Brewing Company in Pueblo. Not only can I be sure that I’ll get a good meal when I step through the doors, I also know that I can complement the dinner with a glass of delicious ale that has been brewed right on site. This place doesn’t allow its customers to sacrifice satisfaction in one area in favor of the other.

Dining at the Shamrock Brewing Company

I have to admit that although I’m not usually the type of diner to experiment with new food choices once I’ve found a winner, the sight of the Boxty being served to other patrons encouraged me to forgo my usual choices of either Shepherd’s Pie or the famous fish and chips and give it a try. Now I have three favorites to choose from on my next visit, because I absolutely loved the potato pancake with the beef. The sauce for the Irish Beef Boxty is a porter ale, and when covered with a gorgonzola fondue, it’s a wonderful and hearty dish.

For those of us who enjoy sampling specialty beers as much as we enjoy a good meal, the offerings of the Shamrock Brewing Company are sure to make you glad you stopped in. If you are not a regular to the pub and haven’t yet found your perfect brew to go with each entrée, order a 4 ounce sample to make sure that the distinct flavors are to your liking.

Even though it’s really an Irish pub, the menu has a wide variety of American cuisine so that if you are in a group, you can rest assured that there is something that will appeal to everyone. And, even though the Shamrock Brewing Company is a pub as well as a brewery and restaurant, it is family friendly, so there is no worry about bringing in young children for a meal. They even offer a Little Leprechauns’ menu for kids under 12 that has more variety than you usually see in a dining establishment.
