There is no where else we’d rather live than right here in Colorado. After all, what’s not to love? We have clear blue skies, stellar peaks, wide open plains and a unique kick-back culture that celebrates the great outdoors. We love the smell of mountain rivers and pine forests after the rain. And there’s nothing quite like the crunch of pure white powder under our feet.
Yet it wasn’t until recently that our team had the chance to cover our great home state. As travel journalists, producers and editors, our team has always suffered from a bit of wanderlust. We’ve spent the last four years covering the globe for our first magazine site, Go World Travel, wandering the alleyways of Stockholm, drinking coffee with jackeroos in the Outback and eating our way through Hong Kong. (Check it out at www.goworldtravel.com.)
It’s not a bad gig, if you can get it. But sometimes you can forget what’s in your own backyard.
goColorado.com is our excuse to get out and really experience the wonders of Colorado. Best of all, we can take you along for the ride. Since this is the Internet, we’ll bring you articles as well as videos. (You might even see our videos on Frontier Airlines’ WILD Blue Yonder TV network.)

We’ll uncover places you’ve never heard of, introduce you to some fascinating folks and give you some cool ideas for that romantic evening you’ve got planned. (You are planning one, aren’t you?)
But don’t just stop in for a quick introduction. Bookmark goColorado.com, and stop in every once in a while to see what we’ve uncovered next. You can search for restaurant suggestions, look up museums or even laugh at humor columnist Jon de Voss’ observations on the Colorado life.
And that’s just the beginning. We’ll be adding new features to the site each month, from online forums (isn’t it fun to chat it up?) to a statewide calendar.
But most of all, we hope you get out there and enjoy Colorado, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a died-in-the-wool native. You’ll be glad you did.
Happy journeys!
