Palisade is known for its delicious peaches, and each year in August, they hold a festival to celebrate this wonderful fruit. Food, contests, entertainment, tours, and plenty of Palisade fun await at the Palisade Peach Festival. The event, in some form, dates back to the 1920s, but peaches have been grown in the region since the late 19th century. Head to the Western Slope this summer for some tasty peaches and plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained.
